About Dana Andersen Equestrian

Dana was raised showing hunter/jumpers on the GSDHJA & USEF circuits around Carlsbad, CA. After attending college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Dana set off on her own venture, training horses & riders on the beautiful central coast of California. Currently Dana trains mostly out of Coastal Equine Ranch, which is located centrally to Cuesta & Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. She has had an upbringing from many trainers such as: Harley & Olivia Brown, Michelle Parker, & Patty Morton.  Dana enjoys not only riding and training on the show circuits but also lessons from beginners to advanced riders.  She has a string of lesson ponies & horses available for use and sees horsemanship skills very important not only in the saddle but on the ground. Her programs are tailored to the rider & horse's needs. The goal of not only success but maintaining the health of the horses & creating a fun & safe environment is of priority in Dana's program.
